Clubs

Student Council

We're looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and creative students who are passionate about making a difference, interested in helping to organize events, and represent their classmates.  Student Council is a chance to get involved, lead, set goals for improving the culture, and promote school spirit.

Drama Club

Through performing arts, students can build confidence and public speaking skills, and learn theater fundamentals through acting, stage directions and improv.  Students can show their creativity in set design and develop a team mindset while preparing for performances.

STEAM Club

Are you passionate about designing, building, coding, or operating machines? Whether a total beginner or a tech wizard, the WMS STEAM Lab is the place to innovate, create, and collaborate with others to solve real world problems. Our space will give students unique opportunities to explore the latest technology including 3d printers, a laser cutter, vinyl cutters, and robots.

Spirit Club

Willoughby Middle School’s Spirit Club encourages positivity and community through student-led events and activities. Open to all grade levels, the club empowers students to help create a fun and welcoming school environment. Members organize spirit weeks, themed dress-up days, and pep rallies to increase engagement. The club also supports charitable drives and community outreach efforts.

Art Club

Willoughby Middle School’s Art Club offers students a creative space to develop their artistic skills through hands-on projects and activities. Open to all grade levels, the club encourages collaboration and artistic growth. Members work on individual and group projects, some of which are showcased at school displays and community events. 

Keyboard Club

The Modern Keyboard Club offers middle school students a fun and engaging environment to explore music through digital keyboards. Students will learn basic playing techniques, experiment with different sounds, and create musical pieces using modern technology.
